Project 5: Muffatees in Two Colours (Pattern)

The following is my interpretation of the pattern for Muffatees in Two Colours (Miss Lambert, My Knitting Book, 1843, First Series, p.17):

• Circumference x Height: 7.5″ (19cm) x 6.5″ (16cm)

• Yarn: Fingering weight yarn in two colours – 95 yds / 88 m Main Colour (MC) and 140 yds / 128m Contrasting Colour (CC). The sample was made with Knit Picks Palette, colourways MC Ash (23731) and CC Clover (24256).
• Needles: 2.5mm dpns or circular needle for small circumference knitting, or size needed to obtain gauge

  1. I have a sock pattern with that pattern on it! I always wondered what it would look like in two separate colors and now I know it would look nicer than in self striping yarn with wide stripes.
